The University of Stirling is a wonderful place - it has an excellent reputation for its research and teaching and is a caring community located on one of the finest campuses in Europe.

We focus upon student-centred teaching and learning in a research-led University. With flexible learning opportunities, students can discover new subjects and interests. We also offer students an extensive range of support services, to help them get the most out of their experience at University.

The scenery on campus is breathtaking, and students are presented with a wide range of social, cultural and sporting facilities.

There are approximately 2,300 residential places on-campus - the majority overlook the loch towards the Wallace Monument - and the centrally situated facilities encourage a strong community feel. Students have much to occupy their time outside lectures, tutorials and lab work.

Facilities include:

  • the University Library
  • 24 hour computer lab access
  • the newly refurbished MacRobert Arts Centre, with its own theatre, cinema café/bar and an award winning programme of films and live entertainment
  • the Robbins Students' Centre with newly refurbished 'Studio' bar
